　　In recent years, keeping pets on campus has been becoming a tendency among a great number of youngsters. With regard to this phenomenon, different people hold different opinions. As far as I am concerned, it does more harm than good.

　　It is not necessary for us to criticize them too much who are keeping pets on campus, but we cannot neglect some relevant drawbacks about it. To begin with, keeping pets on campus may make people around you feel unhappy or even irritated and cause troubles for them. In addition, as students, our primary task is to study hard to better prepare for future career. Keeping pets, to some extent, is likely to exert a negative influence on our academic grades.

　　Certainly, it is indispensable for us to care for animals without affecting our life and study, thus, it is essential for us students to weigh the advantages and disadvantages while making decisions.
