上海新东方2013年2月16日雅思考试回忆及解析

　　写作部分：

　　本次考试Task 1为柱状图;Task 2则考了犯罪类经典话题。属于较为简单的考次。

　　TASK 1 Bar chart

　　The bar chart shows the rating of five factors for a good manager in three separate years (1984, 1994 and 2004).

　　【分析】

　　动态图。可按时间顺序分析五个因素在这三个年份间的变化趋势。因素可按从最大到最小的顺序进行描述。

　　TASK 2 犯罪类

　　Some people think all lawbreakers should be taken into prison, others believe that there are better alternatives. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

　　【分析】

　　此题属于犯罪类经典考题，以往考过的类同题目如下：

　　Today prison is the most common solution for crime. But some people think that it would be a more effective way to provide them with better education to prevent them from becoming criminals. Do you agree or disagree? (12/05/2012)

　　Some people think that all the lawbreakers should be sent into the jail, while others believe that they should also be made to do some work or learn some skills in the community. What s your opinion? (17/09/2009)

　　Sending criminals to prisons is not so effective in dealing with the problem. Education and job training should be offered to them. To that extent do you agree or disagree with this statement? (18/09/2008)

　　Some people think the best way of reducing crime is to give longer prison sentences. Others, however, think there are other better ways to reduce crime. Discuss both views and give your opinion. (12/01/2008)

　　从上述题目中可知惩罚罪犯除了收监外，其他更好的alternatives有education(i.e., to learn some skills in the community) 和job training (i.e., to be made to do some work)。因此，如果考生熟悉历年真题，就不难想到上述两个alternatives。

　　3. 主体段落思路

　　第一段：监狱的作用。首先，惩罚了罪犯，体现了法律的公正，给受害者及其家属带来了一定的安慰。其次，监狱对潜在罪犯有一定的威慑力。

　　第二段：其他更好的方式。首先，给罪犯提供教育资源。其次，帮助、培养他们的工作技能，成立就业指导小组以帮助他们重返社会后可以生存继而赢得生活。此外，还应“人性”地对待罪犯，如在狱中，不以编号称呼罪犯;不穿囚犯服等，给予他们尊严。

　　4. 总结观点：虽然监狱在改造罪犯的过程中起到了重要的作用，但是结合教育、工作培训，人性化对待才能更好地改造他们。
