　　In 2014, we focused on building a new type of internationalrelations featuring win-win cooperation, and we are taking a newpath of external relations characterized by partnership ratherthan alliance.

　　到去年年底，我们已经同70多个国家和诸多的地区组织建立了不同形式的伙伴关系，基本形成覆盖全球的伙伴关系网络。中国的“朋友圈”越来越大，我们的好朋友、好伙伴越来越多。

　　By the end of last year, we have established different forms of partnerships with over 70 countriesand a number of regional organizations, and basically established a global network of partnerships.So, one can say that China’s circle of friends and partners has widened, and will continue toexpand.

　　海外民生工程只有进行时，而没有完成时。“中国脚步”走到哪里，“中国保护”就会跟到哪里。

　　The efforts to protect and assist overseas Chinese is always a work in progress, it’s never a missionaccomplished. Wherever there is a Chinese footprint, consular service must step up and coverthat place.

　　我们会继续努力，进一步提高中国护照的“含金量”，让同胞们更直接地感受到作为中国人的尊严。

　　We will continue to work hard to improve the value of Chinese passports, so that ourcompatriots can more directly feel the dignity of being a Chinese and will find it easier to travelabroad.

　　我们会为大家出国创造更便利的条件，大家可以随时来一场“说走就走的旅行”，并且走得更顺利、更安全、更舒心。

　　We hope that more and more of our countrymen can go abroad at any time they wish, and thatthey can have smooth, safe and worry-free travels.

　　“一带一路”的理念是共同发展，目标是合作共赢。它不是中方一家的“独奏曲”，而是各方共同参与的“交响乐”。

　　The vision of this (One Belt One Road) initiative is common development, and the goal is win-winprogress, full cooperation. If I may use a musical metaphor, it is not just China’s solo, but asymphony performed by all relevant countries.

　　中俄关系不受国际风云的影响，也不针对任何第三方。由于中俄双方已经建立起牢固的战略互信，两国关系更趋成熟、稳定。

　　The China-Russia relationship is not dictated by international vicissitudes and does not target anythird parties. Thanks to the strong strategic trust the two sides have established, our relationship isbecoming more mature and stable.

　　70年来国际格局形势也发生了很大变化，国际秩序自然也需要与时俱进。我们主张对国际秩序和体系进行改革，但这种改革并不是推倒重来，也非另起炉灶，而是创新完善。

　　70 years have passed, the international situation and landscape has changed dramatically, andnaturally the international order needs to be updated. Chins supports reforming the internationalorder and system, but such reform is not about overturning the current system, or starting allover again, rather it is about seeking new ideas to improve it.

　　加害者越不忘加害于人的责任，受害者才越有可能平复曾经受到的伤害。这句话既是人与人的交往之道，也是对待历史问题的正确态度。

　　The more the victimizer is conscious of his guilt, the easier the victimized can recover from thesuffering. This is common sense in interpersonal relations and correct attitude towards history.

　　70年前，日本输掉了战争，70年后日本不应再输掉良知。是继续背着历史包袱不放，还是与过去一刀两断，最终要由日本自己来选择。

　　70 years ago, Japan lost the war; 70 years afterwards, Japan must not lose its conscience. Will itcontinue to carry the baggage of history, or will it make a clean break with past aggression.Ultimately, the choice is Japan’s.

　　中国的周边外交政策旨在奉行“亲、诚、惠、容”的理念，实现睦邻、安邻、富邻，这个政策没有变，也不会变。

　　China’s policy towards the neighborhood is guided by the principles of sincerity, amity, mutualbenefit and inclusiveness. It aims to bring harmony, stability and prosperity to the neighborhood.This policy has not and will not change.
