　　The secret's out: Europe is extremely cheap right now. The euro is nearly equal to the dollar (for now, at least), and flight prices are largely on the decline, too. Hotels and Airbnb rental prices are affordable across the board, making this one of the best times to visit Europe that we've seen in years.

　　In fact, prices for an average trip (aka round-trip airfare and a hotel for a week) are down in almost every major European destination when you compare this summer's data with last year's, a TripAdvisor study found.

　　The study ranked 25 popular European cities based on airfare and hotel costs. Most cities showed a stunning price drop from last year: A one-week trip to Istanbul is 25 percent cheaper than it was last summer and Stockholm -- a notoriously pricey city -- is a whopping 23 percent cheaper.

　　American travelers might find Istanbul and Budapest less familiar than Europe's bigger power players like London and Paris. But while slightly more under-the-radar, these cities are stunning in their own rights with scenery, culture and great food to boot.
