The two-day 2019 South-South Human Rights Forum, jointly hosted by the State Council Information Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, opened in Beijing on Tuesday. President Xi Jinping's idea of building a community with a shared future for mankind offers Chinese wisdom and solutions in promoting fairer and more reasonable global human rights governance, experts said.

　　“2019•南南人权论坛”由中国国务院新闻办公室和外交部共同主办，主题为“文明多样性与世界人权事业的发展”。来自80余个国家、地区及国际组织的300多人出席活动。

　　为期两天的“2019•南南人权论坛”除了设置主论坛外，还设四个分论坛，主题分别为：文明多样性背景下的人权道路选择、构建人类命运共同体与全球人权治理、发展权视角：“一带一路”促进2030年可持续发展议程、南方国家人权保障的实践与经验。

　　与会嘉宾就各个分议题进行讨论交流。专家学者指出，中国提出的构建人类命运共同体的主张为解决当今世界面临的紧迫问题提供了可行的中国方案，是新时代国际公共产品。

　　会前，外国嘉宾参访了上海和浙江杭州，他们走访了两地城市社区、农村、企业和公共服务机构，考察了经济发展、民生保障、城市治理、乡村振兴、文化保护等方面情况，称赞中国坚持以人民为中心的发展思想，在促进和保障人权方面取得的巨大成就，有关经验值得学习和借鉴。
