6个方法教你如何战胜自我怀疑?

  Do you ever feel like you've got a great idea, one that makes you feel incredibly inspired and want to change the world? But then once you start working on your idea, you lose steam and start doubting yourself?

  你曾经是否有过你想到了一个好主意,一个让你感觉难以置信的启发,并且想要改变世界的冲动?但是一旦你开始执行你的想法时,你泄气了,并且开始怀疑自己?

  How could I have thought I could do this? I'm not qualified. I'm not an expert. I have no experience. I have no idea what I'm doing.

  我为什么会认为我能够做这些事情?我没有资格。我不是专家。我没有经验。我就是想到什么干什么。

  We've all been there. And we'll all be there again and again throughout life.

  我们都遇到过这回事。并且我们的一生都是一次又一次的经历这种事情。

  The truth is, as soon as we start getting overwhelmed, we feel discouraged. We hit a brick wall. So how do you force your way through that brick wall and knock self-doubt on its ass?

  事实是,我们一变得不知所措,我们就感觉气馁。我们碰壁了。那么,你怎样解决困难继续前进,并且击垮自我怀疑呢?

  You just keep going.

  你要继续前进。

  Sure, sounds simple enough. But anyone who has actually been standing in front of that brick wall knows that it's not that easy. And the longer you stand in front of that brick wall, staring at it, the more intimidating it becomes.

  当然,这听起来好像很简单。但是真正碰壁的人知道它并没有那么简单。并且你碰壁时间越久,它就变得越令人畏惧。

  So take a deep breath, and try these techniques:

  Pause. If you've run out of steam, maybe it's your body trying to tell you something. When you are feeling overwhelmed, instead of giving up, just take a break. Don't abandon ship, just give yourself a moment. Take a nap. Take a walk. Do something else and come back later feeling refreshed.

  Start small. So often, we feel the need to take great leaps and bounds. Every day needs to be filled with productivity. But we reach a point where we get overwhelmed by all the things we have to do. Break it down. No one can do everything all at once. Take a baby step. Once you get going, it will be harder to stop.

  从小事开始。我们偶尔想要突飞猛进。每天都充满生产力。但是我们遇到了不得不做让我们不知所措的事情。把它分解。没有人能够一次把所有的事情都做完。慢慢来。一旦你开始前进了,它就很难停止。

  Do the thing you're dreading. Often when we get overwhelmed, it's because the task ahead is daunting. There's no easy way around it. The more we think about it, the more intimidated we feel. So stop thinking about it, and just do it. Most of the time, things are never as bad as we imagined them in our minds.

  做让你畏惧的事情。通常当我们不知所措时,是因为我们面前的任务令人生畏。这里没有任何简单的方法。我们思考的越多,我们就越畏惧。所以,停止思考,尽管去做。大多数时候,事情绝不会像我们心中想的那样糟糕。

  Ask for help. The biggest misconception is that we have to do everything on our own. But that's simply not true. Success never comes without support. So reach out. Call a friend. Ask for advice. Your community will be more than happy to help, and you'll feel better.

  寻求帮助。最大的误解是我们必须靠自己完成所有事情。但是那根本不是事实。没有帮助,成功不会降临。所以伸出寻求帮助之手。打电话给一个朋友。寻求建议。你的社区会非常高兴能够帮助你,并且你也会感觉更好。

  Don't give up. This is the most important. Don't walk away just because you get stuck. Do you really want to live your life wondering "what if?" No one wants to live with regrets. Think of what you would say to a friend in your situation. Take your own advice.

  不要放弃。这个是最重要的。不要只是因为被困住了就走开。你难道真的想要过那种想“如果...会怎么样”的生活吗?没有人想带着后悔生活。想想你会对一个处在你那种境况的朋友说什么。接受自己的建议。

  Remind yourself why you started. Sit down and make a list of why you wanted to do this in the first place. Why was this important to you? Writing down the reasons will remind you and motivate you to keep going.

  提醒自己为什么开始。坐下来,首先列出你为什么想要做这些事情。为什么这些对你来说很重要?写下这些原因会提醒你并且激励你继续前进。

  Remember that if it's not easy, it probably means it's worth it. The harder you work for something you believe in, the better you will feel about it. And once you learn how to handle hitting a brick wall, it will get easier to deal with the next time around.

  记住如果这些不容易,它可能意味着这是值得的。你越努力的做你相信的事情,你对它的感觉就越好。并且一旦你学习如何处理碰壁的事情,下次碰到这种事情时处理这些事情就会变得更简单。
