Japanese designer Kiyoyuki Amano has combined fashion andtechnology to create futuristic short skirts that illuminate thewearer’s thighs. Aptly named ‘Hikaru Skirt’, which means ‘ShiningSkirt’, the garment comes equipped with LED lights and theminiature gyro sensors on the inside. So the skirt lights up, andthe color and pattern of the light changes every time the wearermoves.

　　日本设计师Kiyoyuki Amano将时尚与科技结合起来，创造了一种未来式的短裙，能照亮穿着者的大腿。这款裙子名为“Hikaru Skirt”，意思是“闪亮的裙子”。它配有LED灯和装置在内部的微型陀螺传感器。所以裙子可以发光,穿着者每一次移动，灯光的颜色和模式都会发生变化。

　　Amano said that he first placed light bulbs inside a skirt on a whim, and that’s when he noticed thatit created a pleasant illumination of the thighs. So he worked on the design some more and sooncreated a whole line of LED-illuminated minis. The Hikaru skirts, he said, are meant to bridge thegap between everyday fashion and cosplay.

　　Kiyoyuki Amano说，他第一次把灯泡放到裙子里面是一时兴起，他发现让灯光照亮大腿很有趣。所以他继续进行设计,很快就设计出了一款配有LED灯照明的迷你裙。他说，“Hikaru skirt”能够弥补日常时尚和动漫真人秀之间的差距。

　　On January 16, Amano launched a Tumblr page dedicated to his unique creation. He hasn’trevealed a launch date or a price range yet, but it’s only a matter of time before the skirts becomea regular feature on the streets of Tokyo.

　　1月16日，Kiyoyuki Amano在Tumblr上推出了这一独特设计。他还未透露这款裙子的上市日期或价格范围，但这款裙子无疑会变成东京大街上的时尚，只是时间早晚的问题。

　　If you’d actually wear one of these upskirt illuminated Hikaru skirts, maybe you should consider anLED smile to go with it.
