　　Pandora anxiously and angrily replied, “Nonsense! My seeds will sprout, and they’ll blossom. If you don’t believe me, just wait.” Pandora was more confident than before. But after two weeks had passed, they had only grown taller. There was no sign of a single flower bud. Pandora felt impatient, and didn’t want to be embarrassed in front of her classmates.

　　Pandora又急又气地说：“你胡说，我的种子肯定会开花的，不信你等着!”Pandora比以前更用心了。可是两星期过去，小花苗除了长高，并没有生出花骨朵。这下Pandora急了，他可一点也同学们面前丢脸。

　　The next day in class, Pandora was dozing off at her desk when Jimmy ran into the room and shouted, “Bad news, Pandora! Your sunflowers have all died!”

　　第二天课间，Pandora正趴在课桌上昏昏欲睡。懒惰猪气喘吁吁地跑进了教室，冲着Pandora喊道：“不好啦，Pandora，你的向日葵全倒了!”

　　Everyone ran to the playground to find all the sunflowers lying down. Pandora cried aloud. Jimmy stepped forward and said to Pandora, “Don’t cry. I was just kidding earlier. My grandmother has never planted sunflowers…”

　　大家一窝蜂冲到了操场边，看到大片倒地的向日葵，Pandora“哇——”地一声哭了。Jimmy站出来难为情地说：“Pandora，你别哭了，之前是我骗你玩的，我外婆根本没有种过向日葵……”

　　Hearing this, Pandora cried even harder. She said, sobbing, “It’s all because of me… I worried everyone would laugh at me. Last night I pulled them all up. I thought they would bloom more quickly… but I never imagined… I killed them!”

　　可听了懒惰猪Jimmy的话，Pandora哭的更厉害了。他啜泣着说：“其实都是因为我…我怕大家笑话我，昨晚把他们全部拔高了一截…我本以为它们会快点开花，可是没想到…是我杀死了他们…..呜呜呜”

　　Teacher Rolin patted Pandora, and said sincerely, “Yes, flowers need time to grow. If you’re too anxious, it will have the opposite effect. Come on, everyone. Let’s help Pandora plant some flowers.”

　　Rolin老师拍了拍伤心的Pandora，语重心长地说：“是啊，花草的成长也需要过程呀，如果太着急，反而会起到相反的作用。来吧，大家一起帮Pandora种向日葵!”
