　　新学期很快开始了，学校里突然来了一位新同学。

　　The class saw his heavy shell as he walked into the room. His face was red, and he only stared at his feet. He mumbled, “Hello, everyone. I’m Andrew the shy turtle.”

　　只见这个新同学背着一个笨重的壳，走进教室，他羞红了脸，低头盯着自己的脚，小声地打招呼：“大家好，我是害羞龟Andrew。”

　　Andrew was very quiet, and was immersed in drawing after class. He didn’t dare play with his classmates. Victor thought this was odd, and tried to size up the new student. Junior the lion went to exercise after class, and naturally didn’t speak with Andrew. Iris didn’t like him because of his shell. She liked for everything to be very pretty.

　　Iris raised her head and said, “Andrew isn’t attractive, so he must not have good character.” Even though they didn’t understand Andrew, everyone silently agreed.

　　Iris摇头说道：“Andrew长得不好看，肯定性格也不好。”大家虽然不了解Andrew，却都在心里默默点头。

　　After class, Jimmy brought Victor, Junior and Iris to the riverside to play. They were playing very happily when Victor slipped and fell out of the tree he was in and into the river.

　　放学后，懒惰猪Jimmy带着Victor，Junior和Iris来到河边玩耍。正当他们玩得开心时，树上的Victor却突然脚下一滑，掉进了河里。

　　Everyone was very scared because they knew Victor couldn’t swim! Junior saw Victor struggling in the water, and ran back to school to find Teacher Rolin. Jimmy and Iris also didn’t know how to swim, so they could only sit on the riverbank and wait helplessly.

　　大家惊慌失措，因为Victor根本不会游泳!Junior见Victor在河里挣扎，转头跑回学校去找Rolin老师。Jimmy和Iris也不会游泳，只能坐在岸上干着急。Iris吓得哭了起来。

　　At this time, they saw a figure jump into the water and swim toward Victor. The figure used its shell to support Victor on his way back to the shore. Iris was shocked to see that the person who saved Victor was Andrew the shy turtle!

　　就在这时，只见一个身影突然跳进河中，游向挣扎的Victor，用他笨重的壳，轻轻将Victor托了起来，回到岸边。Iris瞪大了眼睛，救Victor的竟然是害羞的Andrew!

　　Rolin arrived at this moment, and commended Andrew for his bravery and selflessness, and sternly said to Iris, “You can’t judge people by their appearances. A good heart is more important than outer beauty.”

　　这时Rolin老师也赶到了，他表扬了Andrew的勇敢和无私，然后严肃地对Iris说道：“当你不了解一个人的时候，绝不能以貌取人。一颗善良的心，比漂亮的外表更重要。”
