　　这周，皮皮猩Victor和呆萌象Pandora去爬山啦，但每次爬山都比较枯燥，于是皮皮猩Victor就建议：“要不咱们来一场爬山比赛吧，看谁先爬上山顶!”

　　Pandora thought for a moment, then said, “But you’re more limber. My legs make me a little clumsier. I can’t go as fast as you!”

　　“Are you afraid?”

　　“I – I – I… I’m not afraid! I won’t give up so easily!”

　　“Okay! Then let’s see! 1 – 2 – 3… GO!”

　　他们就拼命的爬了起来，皮皮猩Victor爬的可快了，才爬了半个小时就把呆萌象Pandora远远的落在后面了!他回头看看呆萌象Pandora，心里一阵得意，心想：按着Pandora的速度，肯定追不上我，要不我去摘几个桃子吃，吃饱了再爬。

　　They climbed with all their strength. Victor was very fast, and after half an hour, he had left Pandora way behind. He turned around to look back at Pandora, and he felt very proud of himself. “Surely at her speed, she won’t be able to catch me,” he thought.

　　于是皮皮猩Victor就去吃桃子了，一阵微风吹过，皮皮猩Victor伸了个懒腰，“吃饱了肚子，要是再睡一觉就更美好了”，他想着想着就躺在树下睡着了。

　　So Victor went to eat some peaches. There was a light breeze. Victor stretched and thought, “Now I’m full. A nap would be perfect.” He lay down under a tree and fell asleep.

　　而这时，呆萌象Pandora正在后面不停的爬着，他爬呀，爬呀，终于爬到了皮皮猩Victor的旁边，看到Victor在美美的睡觉，呆萌象Pandora也想休息一会，可他知道皮皮猩Victor爬得比他快，只有坚持爬下去才有可能赢。

　　At this time, though, Pandora was still climbing. She climbed, and climbed, and climbed! Before long, she was finally at Victor’s side. She saw him sleeping comfortably, and she also wanted to rest, but she knew that Victor was faster than her, and the only way she could win was if she kept climbing.

　　于是他不停的往上爬着，终于爬到了山顶，而皮皮猩Victor呢，一觉醒来发现呆萌象Pandora不见了，抬头看去，哎呀，不得了了，Pandora已经到达了山顶，此时的他后悔极了。

　　So she kept climbing, and finally made it to the top of the mountain. But what about Victor? He discovered as soon as he woke up that Pandora was nowhere to be found. He raised his head to look up, and he was shocked! Pandora had already made it to the top! He regretted his nap!

　　通过这次经历，也让皮皮猩Victor学会了“凡事都要脚踏实地，不能盲目自大轻视别人”的道理，他也吸取教训，立志以后要成为一个虚心的好孩子!
