汉语思维通常会对英语学习造成障碍，尤其是在初级、中级阶段(CEFR A1-B2)，英语老师应努力帮助这种级别的学生，认识到中文和英文的语言特征，并教之有效的解决方法，以下是比较常见的一些语言误区，也就是我们常说的中国式英文。

　　词性错误

　　如果学生知道某个英语词汇的意思但是没有彻底的理解它的词性和用法就很容易在写作、口语中出现错误。

　　1. Incorrect: Since the price for the suit was too expensive, I decided not to purchase it.

　　Correct: Since the price for the suit was too high/exorbitant, I decided not to purchase it.

　　2. Incorrect: I feel painful in my legs.

　　Correct: I feel pain in my legs.

　　在老外看来，这些句子想表达的意思他们可以领会，但有些词汇的使用很奇怪。老师的职责就是让学生知道英语并不是直接用汉语思维来翻译，要根据语境、词性等很多方面考虑选择合适的词汇。

　　词汇不同

　　另一种错误是在汉语中有很多时候我们可以直接用动词来表达，但英语中往往采用词组(介词+名词)的形式表达。

　　1. Incorrect: She looked at him and felt suspicious.

　　Correct: She looked at himwithsuspicion.

　　2. Incorrect: We were greeted by those who wore formal attire.

　　Correct: We were greeted by those in formal attire.

　　表达含义的重心不同

　　英语一般将想表达的事情和含义，在句子开头就开始表述，而汉语则相反。英语是先说重点，其他修饰放在后面，而汉语语言结构排序则是将修饰词放在前面。

　　1. Incorrect: He suffered so much that he became insane.

　　Correct: Suffering drove him to insanity.

　　2. Incorrect: Because China’s economy is growing very fast, people all over the country are able to join the middleclass in the city which is expanding and growing.

　　Correct:The miraculous growth of China’s economy made possible the nationwide expansion and urbanization of the middle class.

　　专有名词、固定搭配的差异

　　英汉两种语言在表达一些词汇的时候，都有自己固定的搭配，所以在用英语表述时不要只考虑根据汉语词汇来翻译。

　　1. Incorrect: Her linguistics knowledge is favored by her superiors.

　　Correct: Her knowledge of linguistics is favored by her superiors.

　　2. Incorrect: What’s the newest news on the Syrian conflict?

　　Correct: What’s the latest news on the Syrian conflict?
