好朋友有亲密无间的BFF(Best Friend Forever，永远的好朋友)，也有不那么坦诚的BBF(Best-Behavior Friend，好行为朋友)。你交过BBF吗?

　　Best-Behavior Friend, also known as 'BBF'; a friend whomyou have very little in common with and you act on your best-behavior when you're with.

　　“好行为朋友”简称BBF，指跟你没有什么共同点的朋友，你和这个朋友在一起时，总是表现出最好的一面。

　　A best-behavior friend does not typically know the extent of your true character or transgressionsbecause you misrepresent the truth to make yourself look good or innocent. A person with a best-behavior friendship may see the friendship as important or long-standing and so lying aboutsituations or leaving out key facts becomes common.

　　“好行为朋友”往往不知道你的真实个性或离经叛道的程度，因为你在他们面前表现出的是天真无邪的一面。有“好行为朋友”的人可能很重视这段友谊或者因为彼此相处时间已经很长，在某些事情上撒点谎或者抹去一点关键事实就成为稀松平常的事了。

　　例句：

　　Meg got staggering drunk at the dancing party last night. She went for lunch the next day withher best-behavior friend Rachel and when Meg recounted her night to Rachel, the drunk elementswere removed.

　　梅格昨晚在舞会上喝得酩酊大醉。第二天她跟自己的“好行为朋友”瑞秋一起吃午饭，当她向瑞秋讲起昨晚的事情时，喝醉的部分被省略了。
