　　Won Wimbledon for the second time, defeating Roger Federer in the final in five sets. It was his seventh career Grand Slam title and his victory meant he replaced Rafael Nadal as world No.1. He also won the ATP Finals for the third time in a row. It was his seventh victory of the year, during which he only lost eight times in 69 matches. Won the Laureus Sportsman of the Year Award in 2012.
