　　玛丽在和面试官布朗先生商讨入职时间的问题

　　Brown: I think you are an excellent person. Honestly speaking, you are very suitable for this job

　　布朗:我认为你是一个非常优秀的人，坦白来讲，你很适合这个工作。

　　Mary: Thank you very much for your evaluation. I also like this job very much

　　玛丽:很感谢你的好评，我也很喜欢这份工作。

　　Brown: I want to know your earliest available entry time.

　　布朗 :我想知道你最快什么时间可以入职。

　　Mary: Oh, let me think...Maybe two months later.

　　玛丽:哦，让我想想… …或许两个月之后吧。

　　Brown: It's too late. If you could get the job, could you start a little earlier?

　　布朗:太晚了。假如你能获得这份工作，你能早点报到吗?

　　Mary: I'm sorry I can't, because I haven't finished my thesis.

　　玛丽:很抱歉，我不能，因为我还没有完成论文呢。

　　Brown: What a pity!

　　布朗:真遗憾!

　　Mary: When do you usually require the new employee to start?
