As the possible series finale of NBC's Hannibal approaches, there's one question on every fannibal's mind: Will the series offer a satisfying conclusion or finish with a maddening cliff-hanger that may never get to be resolved?

The finale wraps up the "traditional" Red Dragon story very quickly -- Frederick Chilton's flaming wheelchair was not the final fiery display of Francis Dolarhyde (Richard Armitage) -- before introducing a huge departure from the text in order to rightly service the lingering issues between Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) and Will Graham (Hugh Dancy).

And while many may debate whether or not the show offers a "happy" ending for these characters, the final image feels like an accurate and appropriate summation of the show that preceded it.
