11月16日，美剧《荒原》在美国首播，“男神”吴彦祖深入“恶土”，献上全武行表演。

　　该剧前期宣传时曾号称“改编自《西游记》”，吴彦祖担纲主角，其好友冯德伦担任动作指导和执行监制，动作戏突破性地融入“东方功夫”，因此开播前备受中国剧迷期待。剧集首播之后，反响两极化严重。

　　外国观众点赞落点在“中国功夫”，但因对Daniel Wu(吴彦祖)不熟悉，评价不多。中国观众的“无理由好评”则全因为吴彦祖，差评在于功夫太过抢戏，剧情不够紧凑，有观众果断弃剧，也有观众表示全套6集的剧才播了1集，仍值得观望。

　　"Into the Badlands" is a new American television series that premiered on AMC this month. One ofthe leading characters, the warrior, is played by Daniel Wu, a Hong Kong-based Chinese-Americanactor, director and producer. CCTV correspondent interviewed Daniel, who talked about hisexperience with the show.

　　Daniel said:"Well, he is not very likeable at the beginning, because he's a trained killer. As the storystarts, he's killed 404 people without any kind of remorse or regret. So he is a cold-hearted killer.On average I think it was about 12 to16 hours, depending on what we are doing that day.Obviously with the fights they take a lot more time and we shoot more. So yes, very tiring work,very difficult to do."
