　　International tourism has become increasingly popular in Australia nowadays. With regard to the influence of this booming industry, people’s views are widely divided. Some people believe such kind of travel is beneficial in terms of providing jobs and enhancing trade. However, others argue that this has a negative impact on the locals when it comes to potential crimes and local entitlements.

　　Admittedly, global travel is both an asset and a liability to a country. To my knowledge, the advantages of international tourism, to a certain extent, outweigh the disadvantages. First, it is apparent that international travelling can stimulate local economic growth. When numerous Chinese travelers visit the country, they will spend a great deal of cash in restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions. Moreover, they will bring local products, such as wine, back to China as souvenirs for themselves or gifts for their friends. Second, tourism can be considered as a natural way of advertising. For example, a Chinese has traveled around Australia and found the climate pleasant and the beach very attractive. He or she will tell friends, causing more Chinese to come to Australia for holidays.
