　　Note: Anthrax has been nominated every year since 2007. The winner in 2006? Slipknot. The winner in 2005? Motorhead. Mastodon has been nominated a ton, but has never won. It comes down to Motorhead and Slipknot, and I think the latter is more the academy’s view on metal’s preference.
