　　The world's largest salt flats are a sight to behold, with it covering awhopping 4.085 square miles in the Department of Potosi in southwest Bolivia.

　　While salt is associated with the ocean, these flats are found 11,995 feet above sea level after being formed by a number of prehistoric lakes.
