false alarm

　　A warning about a danger that does not happen; a belief that something bad is going to happen, when it is not. 例如：

　　The fire service was called out but it was a false alarm.

　　fair game

　　If a person or thing is said to be fair game, it is considered acceptable to play jokes on them, criticize them, etc. “可据理加以抨击的对象，可攻击的对象”，例如：

　　The younger teachers were considered fair game by most of the kids.

　　Politicians were always considered fair game by cartoonists.

　　reflect well, badly, etc. on somebody / something

　　To make somebody/ something appear to be good, bad, etc. to other people. “让某人某物在别人眼里显得…”例如：

　　This incident reflects badly on everyone involved.

　　The economic crisis reflects badly on the government's policies.
