3. Larry Ellison拉里•埃里森

　　Larry Ellison is in the third place. It is estimated that he owns more than $53 billion. Larry was born in Bronx and was raised by a single mother. Later on the boy was sent to Chicago where he was brought up by his uncle and aunt. This is where he learned the basics of computer programming. Larry, however, did not finish his studies and eventually dropped out of school. In order to make money, Ellison worked various jobs in California.

　　It all started in 1977, when Larry together with several other coworkers decided to establish their own business. The team launched a relational database management system called Oracle. The company’s sales kept growing, which helped the creators become popular. Right now Ellison’s plan is to step down as head of the team. Nevertheless, he will still be involved with the business related to Oracle’s technology development.
