1. Describe a book you’ve read recently.
You should say:
when you read it
what the book is about
why you read it
and explain how you feel about the book (likes & dislikes)
2. Describe an important plant in your country.
You should say:
what plant it is
how you first learned about it
where it grows
and explain why you think it is an important plant in the country.
3. Describe something given to you and you really need it.
You should say:
what it is
when someone gave it to you
why you really need it
and explain how you feel when someone gave the thing to you.
4. Describe a gift made by yourself.
You should say:
what it is
how you made it
why you choose to make it
and explain how the receiver’s felt when receiving it.
5. Problematic Equipment.
Version A → Describe a time when you had a problem with a piece of equipment (e.g., a TV or a washing machine)
You should say:
what equipment it is
what problem you had
when you had this problem
and explain what you did about this problem.
Version B → Describe a broken electronic item (e.g. TV)
You should say:
what it is
when it was broken
how you dealt with the problem
and explain how you felt when it was broken.
6. A Kind Of Food. 【New】
Version A → Describe a kind of food you had on a special day.
You should say:
what you had
when you ate the food
where you ate the food
and explain how you felt when having the food on the day.
Version B → Describe a kind of food people eat in a special event.
You should say:
what the food is
when even people usually eat the food
how it is made
and explain how you feel when people eating this in a special event.
7. Describe something you bought but don’t often use.【New】
You should say:
when you bought it
where you bought it
what it is used for
and explain why you don’t often use it.
