5. 高分范文
It is clear to see that life nowadays is busy and full of different possibilities for young people. From an older persons' perspective, it can seem as if planning and organizing are vital elements for a happy and successful life. On the other hand, from a younger person's view, these attributes are not so important, and I intend to show why by making two distinct points.
Young people are still developing and learning as individuals, both in terms of studies, as well as life in general. Schools and colleges provide a great deal of structure and organization for young people with each day carefully timetabled. Students have enough to think about without needing to carefully manage and schedule each day. In addition to timetabling, schools and colleges provide ample support in the shape of tutors and counselors. This support is designed to help the students focus on their studies, meaning that it is not necessary for them worry about planning and organizing their lives. I am a relevant example of this. I have never needed to plan or organize my time in any great way as this has been done for me by the educational structures in my life and also by my parents. As I get older and more independent, the ability to plan and manage my time will become more important, but it has not proved necessary at a younger age.
Another point relates to the different attitudes and approaches to life between young and older people. As a young
person, the characteristics of spontaneity and flexibility are more important than the ability to manage your life to any great extent. Young people often have more energy than older people and enjoy the unexpected things in life. Youth is a time for exploration and excitement. Consequently, planning and organization are not only unappealing, but also more difficult to carry out for many young people. To exemplify this, my brother's friend often has arguments with his parents over their desire to plan every aspect of his life. He has regularly told us how annoying it is and how they do not understand how he wishes to spend his free time. I have been far luckier with my family and I am allowed to do as I wish in my own time. My friends and I often decide at short notice to go hiking or cycling without a destination in mind. It is the lack of planning and organization that is attractive to us.
In short, I disagree with the notion that the ability to plan and organize is essential for today's youth. There are plenty of support structures in place to do this for young people both inside and outside education. Additionally, young people are more inclined to the excitement of the unexpected than the predictable.
