四级翻译中，传统文化类话题占比最高，约40%。其中传统节日、民俗艺术、历史古迹是三大核心方向，专有名词有固定译法，不能自行拆字直译。以下分类整理，考场上直接调用即可。

一、传统节日
节日名称有官方固定译法，注意定冠词和首字母大写：

春节：the Spring Festival（不是Chinese New Year）
元宵节：the Lantern Festival
清明节：Tomb-Sweeping Day
端午节：the Dragon Boat Festival
中秋节：the Mid-Autumn Festival
重阳节：the Double Ninth Festival

二、民俗艺术
民俗艺术类词汇同样有固定译法，不能根据字面意思自创：

京剧：Peking Opera（不是Beijing Opera）
昆曲：Kunqu Opera

三、历史古迹
古迹类名词通常带定冠词the，注意首字母大写：

长城：the Great Wall
故宫：the Forbidden City
兵马俑：the Terracotta Warriors
天坛：the Temple of Heaven
丝绸之路：the Silk Road
大运河：the Grand Canal
相关描述词汇：历史悠久的 time-honored / with a long history、文化遗产 cultural heritage、非物质文化遗产 intangible cultural heritage、保存完好 well-preserved。

句式示例：平遥是一座有着2700多年历史的古城。→ Pingyao is an ancient city with a history of over 2,700 years.

以上三类词汇在四级翻译中反复出现，考前集中过几遍，考场上遇到文化类话题时直接调用，不需要临时拼凑译法。专有名词按固定译法写，描述性词汇灵活处理，翻译分数基本能稳住。
