小时候的玩具（老题新考）

Describe a person you only met once and want to know more about You should say:

What the toy was and what it looked like

Who gave it to you

How you played with it

and explain why it was a special toy to you.

题目解析：

通过对题卡进行审题，确定题目考查描述对象是人物，限定成分是使用聪明的方式解决问题, 所需时态为一般现在时,现在完成时,一般过去式，过去完成时，过去进行时等。关于人物题我们可以从三个部分展开描述，即(1)背景介绍 (2)扣题描述 (3)原因/感受。首先关于(1)背景介绍, 可以从该人物性格和职业两个角度进行展开。其次(2)扣题描述，可以从问题内容和解决方式展开，首先对问题进行描述，阐述问题起因。其次提供解决方案，描述解决方案内容，其次强调解决方案聪明特征，最后问题被解决之后结果。最后从(3)原因/感受两个方面来去描述聪明解决方式的原因。其中关于原因的描述我们也可以利用 Cheers 原则进行展开，比如社交 Communication, 健康 Health, 金钱 Economy/money, 教育 Education, 娱 乐 Recreation/entertainment, 放 松 Stress/relaxation 。

Sample Answer

I really liked this stuffed animal when I was little.

I received it when I was only 6 years old. My father gave it to me as a birthday gift. I remember at that time, I was longing for this doll for too long, but my mother decided I wasn’t mature enough to take care of this expensive toy. So I had waited for a long time.

I got it on the morning of my birthday, and I found it by my bed the morning I woke up. So I was really thrilled and surprised. I hugged it for the whole day and even put it on my lap when I was having the delicious breakfast my mother prepared.

It was a cartoon character from Disney World, called Micky Mouse. I’m sure you have seen and heard about it before. It wasn’t very tall but it was good enough for me.

I felt very excited, of course. As I just mentioned, I have waited for so long, so it was amazing to finally have something that I really love. And also, it means that I finally mature enough in my parents’ eyes, so I always take it as a symbol of growing up and childhood. Now it was too old and dirty, so I just put it on the bookshelf. I don’t want to throw it away since it had setimental values for me.
